Tabor’s 150th Sesquicentennial Anniversary

Tabor is the place to be this Saturday! Come celebrate Tabor’s 150th Sesquicentennial Anniversary. Below is the schedule of events. Activities begin at 9:00am with Walking Tours of St. Wenceslaus Church, Tabor, SD‘s cemetery, Main Street Buildings Pictorial Tour, Vintage Tractor Display. The Keg Bar-Tabor opens for meals at 11:00am and serving Pork, Dumplings and Sauerkraut until gone. Loving Hands Creations opens at 11:00am and make sure to stop by and pick up some hand-crafted creations. Czech Heritage Preservation Society, Inc. opens their buildings at 1:00pm for viewing with souvenirs for sale too. At 3pm inside Beseda Hall, Inc. the Tabor 1890 Band will perform a concert prior to the 150th Town Celebration at 3:30pm. A $5 lunch will be held at 5:30-7:30pm in Beseda Hall. St. Wenceslaus Church, Tabor, SD will have their 6:30pm Mass with Bishop DeGrood, Father Chuck Cimpl and Father Mark Lichter. From 8:00pm to Midnight Angie Kriz and the PolkaToons will be playing for the Free Dance in Beseda Hall. #taborsd #hifromsd
