NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center Hosting Three High-Profile Archery Events in September 2021
September 15 @ 12:00 am - September 30 @ 11:30 pm
The National Field Archery Association Foundation (NFAAF), based in
Yankton, South Dakota, will host three of the most high-profile archery events in the World this
September, the Hyundai World Archery Championships, World Archery Congress, and the Hyundai
Archery World Cup Final.
This is the first time the World Archery Field Championship will take place in the state of South Dakota,
the first time that the World Cup Final will be hosted in the USA, and the first time these two
tournaments will run consecutively in the same location.
The three events, held back-to-back between September 15-30, are estimated to draw approximately
2,000 attendees, including 600 of the World’s most elite archers, coaches, athlete-trainers, each
country’s World Archery governing body, sponsors and officials representing more than 120 countries.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said of the event, “We’re thrilled to be among some of the most
iconic locations around the World who have hosted these prestigious tournaments and we know that
everyone who attends this year’s competitions will be delighted by the Great Faces and Great Places
they will encounter while they are here.”
The 15-day event is also expected to attract local spectators, receive significant coverage in regional and
national media, and be followed by millions on World Archery’s web and broadcast platforms.
